Various organizations, such as Doctors Without Borders, WHO, and UNICEF, are saying that “Food is not enough”. It was reported that every year over 5 million children under the age of 5 are dying due to malnutrition.
That is more than 10 children every minute.
This is the crisis our business is addressing. This is the raison d’être for our existence — our goal of linking the purchases of consumers (both Associates and Preferred Customers) with needs of the children.
Mannatech works to eradicate malnutrition
By using our scientifically developed nutrition and the profits from the sales of our products*, Mannatech became a Social Entrepreneur company with nutrition as their focus. They started the M5M™ Foundation, a US 501(c)3 charity with the purpose of linking 5 million customers with 5 million children.
So here is ashortvideoexplaining this how this program works.
Because each product is sold usually using the currency of the country of purchase, each product is given a Point Volume (PV) . For every 100 PV sold a child receives nourishment added to their food. (In US dollars it is roughly 1 child per 100 US $ spent)
Benefiting everyone’s health
Our POSTER CHILD here shows what changes can happen just by adding nutrition.
Aura went from a 25 pound 10 year old to a 12 year old of normal weight with no change in her meager diet. All that changed was the addition of the nutritional powder from Mannatech through the M5M Foundation.
Another way to help
You have examined the facts and you like what you see. However, you do not wish to purchase any products. You are wondering if there is a way you can still help.
We work through a US 501(c)3 charity where you can make adonationon line. You will receive a receipt which is useful as a tax deduction in the United States.
And, in advance, THANK YOU!
Knowing that what we do – every sale we make, every purchase we make – helps to save the lives of children like Aura is one reason WHY we work with this company.
