Ted & I (Peggy) have now been married for over 48 years. During our marriage Ted has worked outside the home – first as a pastor and then as an Electrical Engineer. He is now working as an Electrical Engineer part time – from home.
I was a stay-at-home Mom, raising our 4 sons and kept busy with whatever project they were involved in. (For more on us and our journey, click here.)
In 1997 I was introduced to the power of proper nutrition and the wellness industry. With the positive changes we saw in my husband’s well being (see here) we did what many others do – we told our story.
We called our team MannaGOLD. There were for two reasons for this:
1. The word Manna means food, a special kind of food. We deal in food supplements. We market a special nutrition that is like manna. It also reflects the name of the company.
2. We are part of a city (Timmins) where, because we have a number of gold mines, the motto was “City with a Heart of Gold”. We have experienced the kind heart of residents over the years. We combined those two words to come up with the name of our team.
